On top of this structure, the architecture firm MVRDV has incorporated Shang Kai Steel's robust and porous SKA20-4 Expanded Metal Mesh. Artfully arranged in a distinctive streamlined fashion, this mesh not only allows in abundant natural light, but also ensures a constant flow of fresh air.

This innovative approach breaks away from conventional dark and smelly marketplaces.
