XF Flattened Mesh
XF Flattened Standard Type
Metal expanded mesh, XF Flattened expanded mesh, safety mesh, protection mesh, metal mesh
The XF type undergoes a surface treatment process using a rolling machine that flattens the wire bars and junctions, converting the 3D structure to a 2D one, resulting in a smooth metal surface. This makes it easier for the metal mesh to bond with coatings and other materials, for example, to adhere to sponge when used in air filters or to be placed in laminated safety glass layers, among other applications. Through testing, the XF type has been found to be suitable for use with XS, SK and ultra-thin fine mesh models, making it a viable alternative to traditional perforated plates.
Expanded Metal Is Available In The Following Metal Types
- Carbon Steel
- Pre-Galvanized Steel
- Hot Dip Galvanized Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Aluminum
